The Veranda
Private Dining Club - Chicago
The Veranda - seating capacity - 60

June 1968 saw the opening of the Veranda, a nice spot to sip a cool drink in the summer and relax by the old horse trough. The chairs were imported from France and the pattern from them originated in a French prison where prisoners were once kept busy making chairs. The carousel segment behind the bar was found in an English antique shop and the portrait in the center is that of King George V.
